Tampa Bay 24 Mile Swim

I returned last night from Tampa/St. Petersberg where I swam a 24 mile relay with two friends from Baltimore. All in all, it was a fun event. The party afterwards was a great event. You can find out more about the event itself at http://www.distancematters.com/

Rob - next year we need to do this side by side and try to up the pace a bit if possible and see if we can go over 5K. We were right in the same general distance. Nice meeting you guys on Saturday, thanks for joining.

Rob,

Due to a neck injury, I have been out of the water for the past 4 weeks, and a couple sinus infections before that - I've been out of the water 2 of the past 3 months.

So I will not be competing in the postal swim this year - sorry!

Great job on improving by 180!

Hopefully I'll be up for the next one.

Yo! that's awesome...fast, holding a solid 1:15/100. I don't think I could hold that to be honest. Bill Davis is the only person I know of down here who is doing it. He's doing his on friday. I just came off a meet where I rested and shaved for sprints so, I'm not in real shape.
