Patty so many thanks for all you did to get there, coach there and be there ready to roll. It was a great experience!

Since being denied access to the pool since Sept. 22nd (but who's counting), I am finally allowed to swim again this coming week! I am also starting physical therapy to increase my range of motion in a safe manner. If it is up to me - sutures may fly!

Team elite athletes treated a group of twenty adult swimmers to a free clinic on Halloween morning at Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatic Center. The athletes were a nice mix of beginner swimmers, triathletes and competitive swimmers. Everyone was there to get great instruction from the experts on Team Elite. Tonight at the Dixie Zone scm champs, I borrowed what David Marsh calls a "floating suit". Somewhat out of shape, very sore from Megan Hepp's MACMasters dryland banana crunches, the great piece of rubber helped me cut minutes off of my mile seed time. All hail the great miracle-working Blu 70. No wonder it's getting banned. Although women 40+ should probably not go public in the look of asymmetrical blue sausages.........
