Sunbelt Update

Hi Everybody,

Those of you in the meet have received the update form Jerry Clark, but for those of you not entered in the meet that are now able……registration is now open. If you are currently registered please let Jerry know your intentions for the meet and copy me. I will need to adjust the relays I sent out last week. MAC Masters Night Out

Hey Everybody - I've set up an evening for us to sit, eat, and relax with Alis Woodard at Macaroni Grill at the Promenade Shopping Center (Providence Road @ I-485). They're making room for 20-30 of us. So come and eat pasta!

KIrk Canterbury Update

Saturday January 30th I had a lengthy conversation with Mark, Kirk’s eldest son. Mark is the point person with the doctors and therapists. Kirk was moved to Health South in Rock Hill on Friday for therapy. While in this center Kirk will receive Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy. The address is 1795 Doctor Frank Gaston Boulevard Rock Hill SC. He is in room 102 bed B for right now. Visiting hours are from 8:00am to 8:00pm. ? Mac at Latin Open Sunday?

To see if SwimMAC will be open or closed Sunday January 31st......go to swimmaccarolina.org on Sunday and look for the announcement. Nothing regarding that would be posted today......time will tell what the roads are like....Terry Fritch Facility Manager will make the call and get it posted as soon as he makes the decision. Normal Sunday hours are 1:00-4:30pm.

Ankle Flexibility

I have been asked so often throughout the years about ankle flexibility. Here is some great advice on the topic from Jackie Leonard who is a Chiropractor here in Charlotte as well as a SwimMAC Master swimmer. Jackie has provided us with some information and video concerning ankle flexibility.
